Reasons to call Hinchingbrooke home

Hinchingbrooke lies next to the 150 acre country park, surrounded by beautiful meadowland and green spaces.

Less than a mile away from the recently redesigned train station, Hinchingbrooke is an excellent commuter spot for direct train travel into London and is positioned by the new bypass on the A14, just 16 miles into Cambridge City Centre. The market town of Huntingdon is just a short walk away, offering restaurants and cafes, along with a selection of shops. Within the last few years, Chequers Shopping Centre received a refurbishment, welcoming an M&S Foodhall and other high street names, alongside increased parking.

The area has a general hospital, with emergency care department and a large secondary school equipped with access to a range of sports facilities. Hinchingbrooke House, an 11th century stately home forms part of the school and hosts events throughout the year, including Halloween attractions and Christmas fairs, with many other community events to participate in.

Hinchingbrooke Country Park has a cafe and an outdoor play area for children to enjoy. It is the perfect place for nature spotters and dog walkers to enjoy the woodlands and lakes, and every Saturday, the opportunity to participate in the community Park Run.

At Villager Homes we have recently sold a four-bedroom detached property on Snowdonia Way and a second on Flamsteed Drive. Both popular and sought after locations, these family-sized homes enjoy views overlooking Hinchingbrooke Forest and are just a mile from Huntingdon town. Open plan contemporary living spaces, double garages and ample parking, these properties fetched an overall average price of around £440,000 over the last year.
